چکیده
Resistance training (RT) improves the skeletal muscle’s ability to generate maximal voluntary force and is accompanied by changes in activation of antagonist muscle which not targeted primarily RT. However, nature role neural adaptation RT paradoxical well understood. We compared moments, agonist activation, agonist-antagonist coactivation, electromyographic (EMG) model-predicted moments generated hamstring coactivation during isokinetic knee extension leg strength-trained (n = 10) untrained 11) healthy, younger adults. Trained vs. adults were up 58% stronger. During extension, was 1.6-fold greater trained (p 0.022). This produced 2.6-fold (42.7 ± 19.55 Nm) group (16.4 12.18 Nm; p 0.004), counteracted (reduced) quadriceps extensor ~43 Nm (0.54 Nm·kg−1) ~16 (0.25 untrained. Antagonist correlated with decreases increases, respectively, The EMG revealed history-dependent functional roles moment generation.

The effects of knee extensor eccentric training on functional tests in healthy subjects.
BACKGROUND It is well known that eccentric training increases muscle strength and promotes greater neural activation, and therefore has been used in the recovery of knee extensors. The hypothesis of this study was that there would be a strong correlation between knee extensor torque and functional tests. OBJECTIVES To investigate the relationship between knee extensor peak torque and function...
متن کاملrole of cultural iran in promotion of multilaieralism in central asia and caucasus
cultural iran is a scope that is more extended than the political territories of iran as a political unit. this concept means that cultural geography(mehdi moghanlo-1383-1) of iran is greater than its political geography which, according to history, has a long history extending west-east from kandahar to the euphrates and north-south from the persian gulf to the caucasus including transoxiana a...
15 صفحه اولNocturnal changes in knee cartilage thickness in young healthy adults.
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) allows one to analyze cartilage physiology in vivo. Cartilage deforms during loading, but little is known about its recovery after deformation. Here we study 'nocturnal' changes in knee cartilage thickness and whether postexercise deformation differs between morning and evening. Axial magnetic resonance (MR) images were acquired in the right knees of 17 healthy ...
متن کاملReliability of a practicable EMG-moment model for antagonist moment prediction.
Although the use of practicable EMG-moment models for knee joint moment prediction appears promising, the repeatability of the estimated forces remains unclear. The purpose of this study was to apply an EMG-moment model to predict the antagonist moment of the knee flexors (Mflx) during maximal isometric knee extension efforts. Nine healthy males performed maximal isometric knee extension and fl...

in fact this study is concerned with the relationship between the variation in thematice structure and the comprehension of spoken language. so the study focused on the following questions: 1. is there any relationship between thematic structure and the comprehension of spoken language? 2. which of the themes would have greated thematic force and be easier for the subjects to comprehend? accord...
